Vice President of Marketing & Communication
Will Davison Jr. is a communications professional with 14 years’ experience working in nonprofit organizations, start-ups and public relations/communications firms.
In his current role, he serves as Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Philadelphia OIC, a workforce development nonprofit organization that impacts 1,500 individuals from impoverished communities in Philadelphia annually. Will is responsible for developing and implementing the communications & marketing strategies to advance the company’s brand identity and donor engagement. He oversees the branding and communications for four adult workforce programs and an alternative accelerated high school.
As a member of the leadership team, Will is responsible for increasing the visibility of all programs across key stakeholder audiences. Other duties entail nurturing partnerships with current and prospective funders, cultivating long-term relationships and tracking new and existing foundations and corporate funding prospects.
He previously worked at Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) in New York City for three years as Director of Communications. While at TMCF, Will was responsible for the script development and execution of their annual leadership development gala, attracting 800 attendees annually and raising $1 million.
In his spare time, Will is an avid traveler and has visited 36 countries and counting. His goal is to visit 100 countries by 2022.
He earned a BA in Journalism from Temple University and a MA in Organizational Leadership/Conflict Resolution from the University of Massachusetts.
