Ready to apply?

The Philadelphia OIC, PECO Smart Energy program, will offer customized job training and job placement services for those who are interested in energy-oriented careers. Over the course of 8 weeks, participants receive the training needed for “smart energy” trade jobs.

The training will equip individuals with the required knowledge, skills and soft skills for success and employment.

After completing the program, participants graduate from Philadelphia OIC with an OSHA-10 Certification and are eligible to sit for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP)Associates exam.

Philadelphia OIC, PECO Smart Energy program graduates become eligible to apply for available employment positions with Philadelphia OIC’s employment partners.

STEVENS AMENDMENT
Philadelphia OIC SOAR is 66% funded by three U.S. Department of Labor Grants ($2,989,488.81), 18% funded by state and/ or local governmental resources ($830,000), and 16% funded through non-governmental resources ($720,236.36).
