Are you new to using computers? If you need to get more comfortable with the digital world for work or just want to explore, OIC’s Computer Literacy classes sponsored by Comcast Internet Essentials, can help get you started. Classes include:

Computer Basics, which covers:

  • Introduction to computers
  • Parts of the desktop computer
  • Laptop computers and netbooks
  • Understanding operating systems
  • Programs and applications
  • Wi-Fi basics (modem, router, LAN)
  • Introduction to the Internet
  • Internet safety
  • Search Engine basics
  • Email basics
  • Creating a resume in Microsoft Word
  • Finding and applying for a job on the Internet
