Sheila Ireland has 25+ years of managerial experience leading transformational change in human resources, training, organizational development and workforce development at the grassroots, local and state levels. Sheila is known for developing programs that improve organizational performance and achieve bottom-line results. She recently served as the Deputy Secretary, Workforce Development, at PA Labor & Industry overseeing PA’s public workforce development system by leveraging 650+ employees statewide and a $270M+ budget focused on growing Pennsylvania’s workforce and increasing access to well-paying jobs. In September 2022 she moved to lead one of Philadelphia’s most historic nonprofits Philadelphia OIC as its next President and CEO.
Aisha Dennis, M.Ed.
Chief Operating Officer
Aisha Dennis is the Chief Operating Officer at Philadelphia OIC. She directs, administers, and coordinates the internal operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Board of Directors. Aisha leads and directs the following functions and/or business units: operations, human resources, information systems, and building management.
Aisha works alongside the CEO in the development of organization policies and goals that cover operations, and growth of the functions and/or business units.
She oversees tenant relations and serves as key liasian to community and company partners. Aisha participates in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives.
During her tenure at Philadelphia OIC, Aisha has previously served as Executive Director of Philadelphia OIC Workforce Academy, the K-8 Out-of-School Time Program Coordinator and Director of Education, implementing our innovative digital literacy pipeline program. Prior to joining OIC’s team, Aisha was a Language Arts teacher and Literacy intern in the School District of Philadelphia. Aisha has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University and a Master of Arts in Education from Holy Family University, Philadelphia.
